| Hookedonkristy: Good thought. But what about the vessel at anchor which is less that 20 meters (ie between 12 & 20 meters, and less than 12 meters) and which is "not obliged" to sound bell for 5 seconds at not more than 1 minute, instead allowed to make "some other efficient sound signal", doing so at less than 2 minutes as required by the rules? This exception violates your rule of thumb. |
