I have this exact question on my renewal examination-and the correct answer as given here (a vessel pushing ahead) is not one of the options. |

Tricky. Reverse of what you'd think; "Which one doesn't need sidelights when not underway". This question is, "what vessels don't need sidelights when on the water, but not going anywhere. B,C & D 'turn off' their running lights when 'on the water' but not going anywhere. |
