This vessel is considered a power vessel, not a fishing vessel. The sound signal for a power vessels in restricted visibility is 1 prolonged blast. Answer A would be true if this were a fishing vessel (ex. a vessel with trawling lines).good answer didn't know that |

Rule 3 General Definitions For the purpose of these Rules, except where the context otherwise requires: (d) The term vessel engaged in fishing means any vessel fishing with nets, lines, trawls or other fishing apparatus which restrict maneuverability, but does not include a vessel fishing with trolling lines or other fishing apparatus which do not restrict maneuverability. |

Rule 18 applies; a "motor driven vessel with trolling lines" not a "vessel engaged in fishing" The latter is restricted in her ability to maneuver.... |
