| This question is odd, as it states it is INTERNATIONAL ONLY while imaging a potential overtaking situation. In the international rules the sound signals for overtaking are two long and one or two short blasts. In the question it is only two short blasts and in the rules two short blasts in international waters just means that vessel B is altering course to port which as long as she didnt speed up would not impact vessel A in any way |
