It's definitely a puzzle to get right, just like how understanding the physics in a game like sand crush helps you master those cascading grains. Great explanation!

Had to really think about the narrow channel part. It's like [Sand Tetris](https://sandtetrisgame.com/), gotta really understand the physics of the situation to get it right!

Wrong rule. Rule 34(c)(i) "Maneuvering and Warning Signals" is where you need to look. Two prolonged followed by one short for international is only used for two vessels, in a narrow channel/fairway in an overtaking situation.

The question and answer are fine as you have to recognize that the only situation this applies is in the narrow channel (D). It has nothing to do with RAM, CBD, etc.

Rule 35 ? Tricky. (C) does not say “narrow channel “. A RAM, and constrained by her draft, yes, but not narrow channel.
