I agree. Its an anchor light, but figured sine that wasnt an option, it had to be a sailing vessel pictured from the stern aspect since all the other answers didnt fit. Anchored and fishing would have additional lights. G over W or R over W.

A pilot boat making way that is not engaged in pilotage duty would display the lights of a PDV, and the answer "a pilot boat making way" does not specify clearly if the pilot boat is engaged in pilotage duty or not. Recommend revising the answer to be more specific. Again, the answer of a sailing vessel assumes that the sailing vessel is less than 20m. More specific answers would make this question more useful for studying.

Agreed! You would think this would be a anchor light.

All of the incorrect answers have colored all round lights that would be seen. A sailboat would be the only one that does not

This question needs to have someone assess it that understands the Colregs and the Inland rules. Please do not write questions if you do not know what you are doing. This white light is NOT enough information to make an accurate assessment and decision. If you are going to write a white light without further information to complete an assessment then of course you are going to give answers that dont make sense as well. I am taking this website seriously studying for the OUPV and I see this?
