| Well he's not engaged in pilotage duty so should not need to show white over red identity lights. Therefore only explanation is the white is a masthead light and the other is a sidelight. |

| He is underway, so there should be sidelights. These folks should go back at look at these questions. Some are completely wrong. |

| This is a stupid question. Only explanation as I understand it is that the white light is a masthead light and red is a sidelight. White over red identity lights should only be shown when piloting vessel is engaged in pilotage duty. |
