Yeah this one trips people up.
For a vessel trawling, the key identifier is the green over white all-around lights from Rule 26. Vessels 50m or more also need to show a masthead light abaft and higher than those lights, which is why option A fits and D doesn’t.
Totally different field, but this kind of rule confusion reminds me of game mechanics where small details matter a lot. I wasted hours mining the wrong levels in Minecraft until I found https:www.//orefinder.io that explains the mechanics and helps you use your world seed properly.
Funny how every field has its own rulebook 😄
