| I agree, the answer is wrong! With the rectifiers, the input is AC, not DC. Figure B shows a DC-input unit. |

| I see that now, it seems without the illustration there no way of knowing. I'm studying the prior 2014 edition. Page 47 of the 2013 released edition says its AC input... |
