D) The oceangoing ship of 400 gross tons and above but less than 10,000 gross tons is required to be equipped with an approved 15 parts per million oily-water separator, but it is NOT required to have a high oil-content bilge alarm or a means to automatically stop the oily-water discharge when the oil content exceeds 15 ppm.
