| The red flag with a white stripe is not looked upon as the proper flag to fly in a diving operations as per the rules. A blue and white Alpha flag is the appropriate flag to fly as per rules however dive boats and individuals in recreational diving use the red and whit striped. In a commercial setting the Alpha is correct. |

| Think of the "A" as meaning "A diver is down". In state waters you could also display a red flag with a white diagonal stripe. |
