| Hi everyone, I recently came across a mention of a new exchange called EVEDEX and got a bit confused trying to understand what exactly it is. At first glance, it looks like a regular crypto exchange, but then I saw references to a whole decentralized financial ecosystem. What makes it unclear for me is that the description mixes current functionality with things that are only planned. For example, derivatives trading is mentioned as a core feature, but then there are also future elements like loans, debit cards, and copy trading. I am trying to figure out whether this is already a fully developed platform or still something that is expanding step by step. Also, there was something about a big investment behind it, which made me curious how much of this is already implemented. Maybe someone has read more carefully and can explain how to interpret all this. | |

| Hey, I had the same question a few days ago and went through the article more внимательно. If you look at https://markets.chroniclejournal.com/chroniclejournal/article/getnews-2025-4-4-new-hybrid-exchange-evedex-secures-funding-from-exclusive-10-billion-dollar-club it actually explains the structure quite clearly, just not in one place. The platform is described as a hybrid exchange built on Layer 3 with its own matching engine and custom rollup, so the technical base seems already defined. The current focus is clearly on derivatives trading, high-throughput performance, and things like near-zero fees and instant execution. At the same time, all those additional features you mentioned are listed as future steps, not something already active. There is also mention of modular architecture, meaning different parts of the system can be expanded separately. And yes, the investment from Changer Club is presented as a strategic move to support long-term development rather than something tied to immediate features. | |

| From what I see, this kind of structure is quite typical when a platform is still evolving. Usually there is a core functionality that is already working, and then a broader system that gets added over time. When descriptions include both at once, it can feel a bit unclear at first. It helps to separate what is currently active and what is planned for later. Also, when technical details like infrastructure are mentioned, they often indicate how future features might be integrated. Looking at it this way makes the overall concept easier to understand. | |
