| Good afternoon, everyone. I'm planning to spend a few months in Georgia next year, and if everything goes well, I may stay longer. Because of that, I've started looking at apartments in both Tbilisi and Batumi instead of waiting until I arrive. A friend told me it's much easier to get familiar with the market beforehand, so I've been comparing different neighborhoods and prices. During my search I found https://kalaki.ge/en , and it seems to have a good variety of listings for both buying and renting. I'm still wondering, though, how closely the online offers match what you actually find once you start visiting places. Has anyone here used it as part of their property search? | |

| I actually did something very similar before moving to Tbilisi. I spent a few weeks checking different websites every evening just to understand how prices changed from one district to another. By the time I arrived, I already had a shortlist of places I wanted to see, which saved me a lot of time. I also because it was convenient to browse different types of properties in one place, and it helped me compare apartments in several neighborhoods before arranging viewings. Of course, seeing the apartment in person is still essential, but having a clear idea of the market beforehand made the whole process much less stressful | |

| I've never rented or bought a home in Georgia, but I always enjoy reading topics like this because it's interesting to see how people approach moving to a new country. It seems that everyone has a slightly different strategy—some spend weeks researching online, while others prefer to arrive first and explore neighborhoods on foot before making any decisions. Personally, I think walking around an area tells you things that photos never can, like how busy the streets are, whether there are parks nearby, or simply whether the place feels comfortable. Those small details often end up being just as important as the apartment itself. | |
