| Hello! I am moving just a few blocks away in the city soon. Since it is such a short distance, do you think I can save some money by doing it myself, or is a professional crew still worth it for a local trip? Any tips? | |

| Greetings! Even for a short distance, moving heavy furniture yourself can be a nightmare. I tried it once and ended up scratching my floors and breaking a mirror. For my last local move, I hired Boston moving company Flash Moving https://www.flashmoving.net/ and it was worth every penny. One great trick is to keep your clothes on hangers and put them in large trash bags. It makes unpacking so much faster. These guys are experts at commercial and residential moves, so they know how to navigate tight parking and narrow hallways. You save so much time when you have a crew that has the right equipment and experience. Focus on packing your small personal items and let the professionals handle the heavy lifting for you. | |
