| The medication Zopiclone 10 mg is only taken sometimes. People with sleep difficulties are given something called sleep medication. This is Benzodiazepine's safer substitute. Benzodiazepines are habit-forming, addictive drugs that can lead to dependence. Benzodiazepines and zopiclone have different chemical structures, yet they both attach to receptors in the same way. It also goes by the name hypnotic, has a brief effect, and is quickly removed from the body. A 5-hour half-life is the norm. The half-life is the length of time it takes for a dose of medication to be reduced by half. The half-life is slightly longer in older adults and is roughly 7 hours. | |
