| Learn how to play the elemental shaman in Wrath of the Lich King Classic. Talents, stats, cycles, gems, enchantments, and BiS gear. The Elemental Shaman in Wrath of the Lich King made some much-needed improvements to the overall gameplay style of the class. From better mana efficiency to some new skills added to the rotation, it's an exciting time to harness the elements by hurling fire and lightning at your opponents. In this guide, you'll learn everything you need to know to maximize your potential in World of Warcraft Classic: WotLK. The elemental shaman is a long-distance spellcasting profession that uses lightning and fire as its main source of damage. They have pretty good burst and sustained damage, and can also deal good ranged damage if they place their Fire Totem in the best position to pair with Flame Nova. They still provide the same utility as all shaman totems and can provide some healing if needed; better than augmentation, but not nearly as effective as restoration. As detailed in our shaman career guide, choosing the right race for a shaman is a matter of preference. Most players with an Elemental specialization choose Trolls as their race for Haste Wins Berserker. Elemen tal Shaman Talents The table below shows the best talents for maximizing DPS in PvE content. The highlighted talents can be changed depending on the group composition. vari ations Knowledge of the Ancestors: If no other Shaman Priests or Death Knights in your party have Winterhorn, take 3 points from it and put them into Fortify Totem. Elemental Guardian: Investing points in this talent rather than Relentless Storm or Convection will benefit you more from survivability than mana efficiency. Best sculpt for elemental shaman Best glyphs to use as elemental shaman in wow wotlk classic wrath main glyphs All of the main glyphs used in this version are flat damage increases. In PvE there is no need to use any of the others. One scenario is using the Thunder Sculpture for a strictly AoE build to use Thunderstorm more often, but that's not usually necessary. The Lightning Arrow sculpt gives the Lightning Arrow a fixed damage increase. The Lava Sculpt now allows Lava Burst to scale better with better gear. The Totem Sculpture of Rage offers more spell power. Please note that if you are not prompted to take down this totem for your team, you should at least take it down for buff and switch to a different totem. Small Glyphs For elemental shamans, the character even has a small effect. The Thunderstorm figure not only provides 2% additional mana when using Thunderstorm, but is also necessary in PvE battles to allow enemies to be collected. In rare cases, it makes sense not to use glyphs to control the gauge rather than kill them. The Shield of Water sculpture has an additional cost to reduce the number of refreshes. The Regenerate Life Sculpture removes the reagents needed to reawaken, and is useful in raids to ensure you never run out of wlk classic gold when you're in need. | |
