| How to play the Enhanced Shaman in Lich King Classic Wrath. Talents, attribute priority, skill rotation, gems, enchantments, and BiS gear. Augmented Shaman are fierce fighters on the battlefield, harnessing the power of the elements. In World of Warcraft: Rage Classic, their skills and totems offer a wide range of possibilities and can deal great damage when needed. They're pretty good in terms of damage potential, and in some cases top notch. This guide focuses on the level 80 endgame content and will be updated with more information as the Wrath of the Lich King material progresses. Enh Shaman deal physical and spell damage in melee combat, but can also excel in encounters that require some ranged spell damage. They now have pretty good area damage when using Flame Nova and Lightning Chains with Vortex Weapon Triggers. While they do have the ability to heal, that is not a priority as they are not fully prepared for it in the long run. Many Horde players choose Orcs as their special class for the ax specialization, but the troll race Berserker, which wins haste, is also a good choice. For the Alliance, the draenei are the only option. Improved shaman talents These are the talents that most players go for with the Advanced Shaman in terms of maximum damage output, with the sculpt being more focused on ranged damage. We've highlighted a common variation that depends on your team composition. vari ations Improved Windfury Totem: Increased melee haste gain from 16% to 20%. Frost death knights have enhanced ice claws that allow this (sometimes bloody death knights do as well). If your team doesn't have this buff, then remove Shaman's Focus and Empowered Charge points. These only provide mana efficiency, and your team is better equipped with 4% melee buff than the sometimes reduced damage due to mana drain. Best Enhanced Shaman Sculpture main glyphs Glyph of Stormstrike is a fixed damage increase. The Flametongue weapon sculpt offers more spell damage, which is crucial for AoE since it's incorporated into both weapons and wotlk classic gold. The Flame Nova sculpt reduces the cooldown of the Flame Nova. The sculpt from the above AoE build has had changes made to be strictly single targets, making the following changes worthwhile. The Minor Sculpture has no significant impact on the Advanced Shaman's performance. The Life Regen sculpt has some impact on raids, as it ensures you never run out of crosses to cast turns in combat. The Ghost Wolf sculpt is great for resting between fights. If you frequently need to return to a location in Hearthstone to find another party member, for example, the Astral Recall Sculpture is a way to improve your quality of life. The remaining options, not shown above, fall between the Water Walk Statue and the Water Breathe Statue, both of which eliminate the need for reagents for their respective skills. Improved Shaman status priority Enhanced Shaman's damage consists of physical melee and spells; mainly of a nature. You benefit greatly from hit rating by choosing dual-handle talents. Hitting a 24% hit rate cap isn't important, but they should have at least 8% and aim for 13-14%. The spell's hit rate is capped at 17%. Enh should always have a specialization level of 26. Both melee and spell damage increase with attack power. Haste is also important to create more layers of vortex weapons that target anything with haste over 16%. Armor penetration isn't that important as it only benefits you. | |
