I know that many people use virtual machines for various processes and purposes. But when you transfer a virtual machine from one platform to another, don't you worry that problems may appear and all data may disappear?

Will you be transferring a project from one virtual machine to another? Or will the administrator of the site to which you are migrating this project do everything? The approach is different everywhere.

I will be migrating everything myself, as our project has a lot of important data that needs to be transferred carefully and not to lose anything during the transfer of the project.

The work of an administrator is always full of various risks, because no program is perfect in its nature and can lead to irreversible data loss. Therefore, for any data manipulation and transformation of virtual machines, be sure to use a backup. StarWind V2V Virtual Machine Converter https://www.starwindsoftware.com/starwind-v2v-converter has such a built-in feature. This utility automatically backs up the original drive. The conversion is carried out by sector, which eliminates the possibility of changing the source.
