BOTH INTERNATIONAL & INLAND Which statement is TRUE, according to the Rules? | |
A) A vessel not under command shall keep out of the way of a vessel engaged in fishing. | |
B) A vessel engaged in fishing while underway shall, so far as possible, keep out of the way of a vessel restricted in her ability to maneuver. | |

The rules should be modernized, harmonized worldwide and simplified. Then, testing and application of the rules on the water would be better understood. | |

No, Rule 18. (b) A sailing vessel underway shall keep out of the way of: (i) a vessel not under command; (ii) a vessel restricted in her ability to maneuver; (iii) a vessel engaged in fishing. (c) A vessel engaged in fishing when underway shall, so far as possible, keep out of the way of: (i) a vessel not under command; (ii) a vessel restricted in her ability to maneuver. | |
