Hey everyone! I wanted to kick off a conversation about something that’s been on my mind lately — landscape design services. Whether you’re sprucing up a residential yard or planning a full makeover for a commercial property, finding the right landscaping team can make a huge difference in curb appeal and overall property value. Living in Georgia, I’ve noticed a lot of buzz around companies offering landscaping in Marietta, GA and landscaping in Woodstock, GA, not to mention the high-end commercial landscaping in Atlanta. It seems like the demand is growing as more people and businesses look to upgrade their outdoor environments — and rightfully so! Why It Matters: Great landscape design can offer: My Experience: We recently hired a team for a small backyard redesign in Marietta, and while the results were solid, I realized afterward how important communication and long-term planning are when choosing a landscaper. Things like understanding seasonal plant choices, lighting design, and irrigation systems made a bigger difference than I initially expected. Now, we’re considering hiring out for a second property, and I’m curious to explore options — especially for more complex projects. Let’s Chat: I’d love to hear your thoughts, recommendations, or even photos if you’ve got them! Whether you’ve worked with local pros or DIY’d your landscape, your insight could help someone else make smarter choices. Drop your experiences below — who would you recommend (or avoid) for top-notch landscape design services in Georgia? Looking forward to hearing your stories and suggestions! |

Seeing how popular it is right now and how many people dream of fixing up their backyard, there are tons of companies doing it. I don’t really know, just look around and read some reviews. I’ve always been curious though, how do landscape designers figure out what goes where? It’s not just planting some bushes and throwing in a bench.

Since I know next to nothing about landscape design, I don’t have a lot of guesses. Maybe they check from above too? I just recently found out there are platforms like EOSDA LandViewer. If you’re into live satellite feeds, this viewer is fast and reliable, and it helps if you just wanna check out how your area looks from space. But also, pros can use it to analyze terrain, landscapes, and how things changed over time. Maybe that helps with design too?
