As shown in figure "A" of the illustrated digital multimeter screen, what would be the significance of the symbol indicated by "2" being illuminated? Illustration EL-0047
A) the selector switch is in the resistance position and the meter leads are connected across a PN junction of a transistor
B) the selector switch is in the continuity/diode test position and the secondary function pushbutton is toggled for continuity
C) the selector switch is in the continuity/diode test position and the secondary function pushbutton is toggled for diode
D) the selector switch is in the resistance position and the meter leads are connected across a diode

According to the Fluke manual, the wording right out of the book (pg.4) says "The meter is set to diode test" not continuity/diode test. function 1 is continuity.
