| The answer supplied as "correct" by this site (C--one prolonged, followed by two short) does not even exist as an option for international maneuvering signals within sight of each other. I believe the correct answer should be "A" --two prolonged, followed by two short |

| Wouldn't the question have to state that the overtaken vessel would have to move in order for the overtaking vessel to pass??? | |

| This Question should clarify that the overtaking vessel needed more room to pass, because if this wasn't the case, then you would only need to sound 2 short blasts. | |
