Why must I have the latest browser version to view USCGQ?
USCGQ is devoted to using the most current and available internet technology and standards. In order to give our users the most efficient and interactive experience, it is essential for our users to update their browsers. Not only is it good practice to keep your systems browser up to date, but by doing so it prevents adware, malware, and other types of viruses from infecting your computer.
What is Answers-Only Mode?
When enabled, users are able to browse the question databank only viewing the question answers.
What is Study Mode?
This is the default mode for users to study questions while keeping their score and time.
What does the "Get a Hint!" feature do?
This allows the user two hints. When clicked, an incorrect answer will be displayed with an orange background.
How do I "Tag" a question? And what does that do?
In order to tag a question, you must register an account. Once you have logged in, start browsing any topic. If you notice related questions you can start tagging them in the tag box below each question.

For example: this question relates to knots, more specifically, the rolling hitch. Every time you see a question relating to the rolling hitch, simply use the tag box to tag it as "rolling hitch". By tagging this question, you will be able to create a group of related questions that you or anyone else can refer back to.
How do I comment on questions?
First, register an account. Once you have logged in, start browsing questions and you will see a comment box below each question.
